Born of a desire to blend the terms “tourism” and “music”, Hit the Road now offers you the chance to (re)discover a city through its music. Instead of simply going to see a band, you can visit authentic places and neighbourhoods steeped in history, meet artists and music professionals, take part in workshops and interact with the people who devote their daily lives to creating the most diverse musical projects. Her work in Paris has showed her that cultures often meet and blend in the same area, regardless of their differences, and that music is the perfect medium for recounting a place’s history. Based in Latin America and Europe, Manuel, Perrine and Alejo make up the multidisciplinary team at Pitahaya Comunicación. This agency specialises in digital communication, and devotes its expertise and experience to helping cultural and social projects led by young entrepreneurs. By creating a coherent image around these initiatives, and in order to give them a solid visual identity, Pitahaya Comunicación provides the project leaders with guidance and advice for implementing communications strategies.
